It is such a joy to be able to serve the Lord and Marbledale Baptist Church as Student Minister.  Marbledale has been my home since I was eight years old.  I have grown up here and I owe a big thank you to all who have been the example for me.  It is my desire to see every boy and girl saved and I will do my very best to proclaim the gospel of Jesus in every program, every classroom, and every function that we promote here at Marbledale.  Please continue to pray for our students and for me as we try to work together for the cause of Christ.
 
I would like to take this opportunity to let you know what all is available to your children and older students here at Marbledale. We have a "Children's Church" service each Sunday morning in the sanctuary for younger children. They hear a “kid-size” sermon and receive their own bulletin each week.  We also provide two classes for younger children during our worship services.  There is a nursery provided for infant children up to three years old across from the sanctuary.  Down the hall from the nursery, there is also a children's church classroom for children ages 3-5.  In this class, preschool children are taught Bible stories each week and participate in crafts relating to the lesson.

For our mid-week Wednesday night worship services, there is also plenty for your children to become involved in. The nursery is provided on Wednesday nights for infants and small babies.  We offer the

AWANA program for children ages 2 through 5th grade for our Wednesday night service.  The AWANA program begins at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday night in the Fellowship Hall.  The AWANA program is broken down into four age groups.  We have AWANA Bees(for children 2-younger 3-years old), Cubbies (for pre kindergarten ages 3-5), Sparks(for children in Kindergarten - 2nd Grade, and Truth and Training (for children in 3rd through 5th Grade).  During AWANA, there is a time for scripture listening as the children memorize scripture each week to earn rewards, council time where they are presented with the gospel each week, games, and a snack time.
