Youth

“There is always room for one more!”

We have an exciting and ever-growing Youth Program for our teenagers to become a part of as they enter the sixth grade here at Marbledale!  The program goes up through college age.  We meet each Wednesday night in our Youth Room upstairs above the Fellowship Hall.  Students may arrive at 6:30 p.m. to spend time with friends and our Youth Lesson begins at 7 p.m.  Each week, youth will be able to participate in singing with our Youth Band and hear scriptures and study a lesson that pertains to issues facing Youth today.

The Youth Program also has monthly activities planned to become involved in.  Activities may include mission/work opportunities for youth to help others who need help and also fun activities such as bowling, scavenger hunts, putt-putt, etc. and all of these activities usually include us eating somewhere along the way!  During the summer months, there is typically a week scheduled that is dedicated to spending the entire week doing mission work to help out people in need.  The Youth here at Marbledale have been to various places doing various types of ministries, including working at clothes and food shelters, nursing homes, children’s ministries such as Daycamps and Vacation Bible Schools and performing many construction jobs for people in need.  Our saying in the Youth Group is that “there is always room for one more!”

There are many opportunities for your students to become involved in the Youth programs here at Marbledale.  Please feel free to call or e-mail if you have questions.  I am so glad that you are here.  I pray that you will feel right at home here at Marbledale and I look forward to meeting your children.
